Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Localities: Horton Woods, Rawhaw Wood, Easton Hornstocks and Bedford Purlieus.

Observations: The moth can be abundant were it occurs as on the evening of 2 June 1988 at Hollow Wood when scores were observed flying over the bracken at dusk.

L.O.N.: Undated. Abundant in many localities, especially woods.
