Distribution/Abundance:  Local

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  6-8mm

Flight Period:  May - June

Observations: The species can best be recorded by searching for the mine on Aspen, this being a triangular blotch extending from the midrib. Fallen leaves can be examined for a "green island" where the still active mine exists. Can be quite numerous where mature Aspen exists.
