Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  6mm

Flight Period:  June - July

Observations:  The larva mines the leaves of Dogwood. Following research published in 2018 (Nieukerken et al), it was shown that all records of A. trietschkiella are to be assigned to A. petryi, for those associated with Dogwood.

NB: Antispila treitschkiella has only been found in the UK in London (2016), and feeds on Cornelian Cherry (Cornus mas).
