Status: Former resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Very local.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Locality and Last Record: Only known from Barnack Hills and Holes and last recorded there on 7 June 1942 by (H. Adams).

Observations: There is an earlier record of 2 June 1925 Barnack Hills & Holes (A. Cooper and W. Mayes). This was a well-known site for this moth’s congener The Forester
(P. statices).
