Status: Resident. 

Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: Single brooded from June to August.

Observations: Although Barnack Hills and Holes has the reputation of being a good site for finding varieties of the moth, this has not been my experience on the numerous searches that I have made at the reserve during its flight period.

L.O.N.: 1907. Common. Abundant in some localities.
