Primary Habitat:  Woodland, gardens

Wingspan:  12-15mm

Flight Period:  May - July

Observations:  The case-bearing larvae can often be found on tree trunks, fence posts, folliage and grass stems - the case being particularly distinctive. The females are wingless but males can be attracted to light.
