Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on various bracket fungi, in particular Trametes versicolor. The adults do come sparingly to light, but are very keenly attracted to the VES pheromone lure in late evening and through the night. The first VC32 record was attained using just such method in Old Sulehay. Further records may thus be gained by utilising this lure within mature woodland which contains plenty of dead wood.

Confusion Species: N. cloacella, N. granella thus gen det is preferred for ID to be confirmed
