Distribution/Abundance:  Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat:  Grassland

Wingspan:  11-12mm

Flight Period:  July - September

Observations:  The larvae mine the stems of various coarse grasses, including Cock's-foot and Meadow-grass. Adults fly by day, usually early on sunny afternoons. A single record exists for this otherwise well-distributed species in 1909.
