Wingspan:  7-8mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: June, August

Observations:  The larvae mine the leaves of Oak. I have reared specimens from leaf-litter collected from under Oak trees in Bedford Purlieus during January, which when brought indoors, then emerged in March.

Confusion Species: Bucculatrix thoracella
