Distribution/Abundance:  Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat:  Indoors, Parkland

Wingspan:  10mm

Flight Period:  July - September

Observations:  The larvae have been found on fungi and wine corks! A single record of this species exists for VC32: 07.x.1941 at Kettering. Curiously, I have attracted this species in Jersey, using a pheromone lure designed to attract one of the Clearwing moths. Eight individuals came to the lure (TAB) within a matter of minutes on the afternoon of 05.vii.2013.
