Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, woodland rides

Wingspan:  10-13mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May - June, August

Observations: The larva mines the leaves of Ribwort Plantain, evident in later instars as a blotch mine in a folded leaf. The adults are active by day, often in the afternoons, but are also attracted to light.
