Distribution/Abundance:  Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat:  Hedgerows, waste ground, roadside verges

Wingspan:  7-8mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May, August

Observations: The larvae form a gallery mine in the leaves of Mugwort, later forming a blotch. The species has a south-easterly distribution in the UK, with only a single VC32 record. Further fieldwork away from non-traditional woodlands may yield further records.
