Primary Habitat:  Wetland, Carr

Wingspan:  7mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: July, September onwards, reappearing in spring

Observations: The larvae mine the leaves of Willows. NB: A similar species, Phyllocnistis ramulicola, was discovered in 2006 as new to science in Havant Thicket, Hampshire and may be present in VC32. Adult moths can only be separated by dissection of the genitalia.
