Primary Habitat: Allotments, gardens

Flight Period: Single brooded from July to August

Observations: Larvae feed internally for two years within the stems of Raspberry canes, later forming a noticeable gall. Adult males can be quite enthusiastic about the artificial pheromone lure and can be recorded in numbers very quickly at a good site. The lower photograph shows the first VC32 record, attracted to lure in a Northampton garden.
