Hornstocks.
Observations: The
larval workings are common in old sallows in many places
in the county suggesting that the species is under
recorded. The record from Deenethorpe Airfield is of a
pair found in cop. on 12 July 1996 after a systematic
search of all of the old mined sallows on the airfield.
The moths were resting very conspicuously in the sun on
the trunk of one of the last sallows to be searched.
