B&F: 0379
ABH: 52.011
Status: Resident.
Distribution
and Abundance: Local.
Primary Habitat: Gardens.
Flight Period: Single
brooded in June and July.
Localities: Northampton,
Kinewell Lake, Peterborough and Werrington.
Observations: Prior to the
advent of the use of pheromone lures there were few records for this
species. Since their use the moth has been found to be locally common
but the indications are that it is rather more local than some of
its congeners. Despite repeated specific targeting in some eminently
suitable localities the moth has not been seen, however overall the
species is almost certainly under-recorded in the county.
