Distribution/Abundance:  Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat:  Quarries, old airfields, stone walls

Wingspan:  9-10mm

Flight Period:  June - July

Observations: Only a single, historic record for this species in VC32, in 1902. Larvae feed on Stonecrop species, mining the stems, and is widely distributed in the UK. Searching on suitable habitat may produce modern records.

Confusion Species:  Glyphipterix simpliciella
