Observations: Only
a single historic record existed for this species until 2020. Larvae mine the
shoots of Beech. It is quite widely distributed throughout the UK
and thus may be overlooked locally (although I note that there are
only a few records in neighbouring Bedfordshire). Adults fly by day
and may be beaten from the branches of Beech.
