Distribution/Abundance:  Local

Primary Habitat:  Gardens, Woodland, Hedgerows

Wingspan:  16-22mm

Flight Period:  July - August

Observations: Larvae mine the leaves of Apple, then feed gregariously in a silk web. Adults are almost impossible to differentiate from congeners, and genitalia dissections are also not diagnostic. Best recorded in the larval stage.
