Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Woodland rides

Wingspan:  12mm

Flight Period:  May - September

Observations:  Larvae mine the leaves of grasses, especially Cock's-foot.

Confusion Species:  Other members of the Elachistidae family can be very similar as adults and care is required to correctly identify, especially in worn adults.
