Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Woodland rides

Wingspan:  10-11mm

Flight Period:  June - July

Observations:  Larvae mine the blades of Grasses.

Confusion Species:  E. albifrontella. Other members of the Elachistidae family can be very similar as adults and care is required to correctly identify, especially in worn specimens.
