Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Woodland rides

Flight Period:  April - June

Observations:  Larvae mine the blades of Grasses. Adults can be seen flying at dusk in suitable habitat

Confusion Species:  Other members of the Elachistidae family can be very similar as adults and care is required to correctly identify, especially in worn specimens.
