Distribution/Abundance:  Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat:  Grassland

Wingspan:  7-8mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May - June, July - August

Observations:  Larvae mine the blades of various grasses. Only a single record exists for this species, as per LON. Listed as Nationally Scarce in the UK.

Confusion Species:  Other members of the Elachistidae family can be very similar as adults and care is required to correctly identify, especially in worn specimens.
