Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Grassland

Wingspan:  8-9mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: April - July, August

Observations:  Larvae create narrow mines within the blades of various sedges and some grasses. Probably an overlooked species within VC32.

Confusion Species:  Other members of the Elachistidae family can be very similar as adults and care is required to correctly identify, especially in worn specimens.
