Primary Habitat:  Damp Grassland

Wingspan:  9mm

Flight Period:  Pos. Bivoltine: May - September

Observations:  Larvae mine the blades of Tufted Hair-grass and Tall Fescue.

Confusion Species:  Other members of the Elachistidae family can be very similar as adults and care is required to correctly identify, especially in worn specimens.
