Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  9-12mm

Flight Period:  May - June

Observations:  Larvae feed under the bark of Larch, Maple, Apple, Lime and Elm. The only VC32 record to date was taken by Martin Coles in his garden trap in Northampton (SP75). On the previous day a specimen was recorded at Ampthill Park in Bedfordshire (VC30). This species is local and scarce in England.
