Status:  Unknown

Distribution/Abundance:  Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Quarries, Roadsides

Wingspan:  18mm

Flight Period:  September, and again in Spring after hibernation

Observations: Larvae feed on leaves and then flowers of Burnet-saxifrage and Greater Burnet-saxifrage. Adults rarely come to light, which may help to explain the lack of records.

Confusion Species:  Some members of the Depressariinae are difficult to positively identify as adults unless the recorder is particularly skilled. Best identified either from the larval case/foodplant, or by examination of adult genitalia.
