Distribution/Abundance:  Local

Primary Habitat:  Wasteground, Grassland, Quarries, Roadsides

Wingspan:  15-19mm

Flight Period:  May - September

Observations: Larvae feed on Wild Carrot, Pignut and Burnet-saxifrage.

Confusion Species:  Some members of the Depressariinae are difficult to positively identify as adults unless the recorder is particularly skilled. Best identified either from the larval case/foodplant, or by examination of adult genitalia.
