Observations: Larvae
feed on the leaves of Wild Carro, Parsnip and occasionally Upright Hedge Parsley. Adults are rarely seen but occasionally attend light traps. Adults most likely to be confused with D. pulcherrimella and D. sordidatella.
Confusion Species:
Some members of the Depressariinae are difficult to positively
identify as adults unless the recorder is particularly skilled. Best
identified either from the larval case/foodplant, or by examination
of adult genitalia.
