Status:  Resident

Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce

Primary Habitat:  Wasteground, Damp meadows, Quarries, Roadsides

Wingspan:  18-22mm

Flight Period:  July - August

Observations: Larvae feed on Cow Parsley, Rough Chervil & Hemlock.

Confusion Species:  Some members of the Depressariinae are difficult to positively identify as adults unless the recorder is particularly skilled. Best identified either from the larval case/foodplant, or by examination of adult genitalia.
