Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Dry grassland

Wingspan:  13mm

Flight Period:  August, and up to May after hibernation.

Observations: Larvae feed in rolled leaves of Cow Parsley & Wild Carrot.

Confusion Species:  Some members of the Depressariinae are difficult to positively identify as adults unless the recorder is particularly skilled. Best identified either from the larva/foodplant, or by examination of adult genitalia.
