Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Heathy grassland, Golf courses

Wingspan:  15-21mm

Flight Period:  April - June

Observations: Larvae feed on Broom, possibly Genista.

Confusion Species:  A. nanatella. Some members of the Depressariinae are difficult to positively identify as adults unless the recorder is particularly skilled. Best identified either from the larval case/foodplant, or by examination of adult genitalia.
