Status:  Unknown

Distribution/Abundance:  Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat:  Woodland rides, Hedgerows, Roadside verges

Wingspan:  20mm

Flight Period:  August - September, then in Spring after hibernation

Observations: Larvae feed on various umbelliferous plants.

Confusion Species:  Some members of the Depressariinae are difficult to positively identify as adults unless the recorder is particularly skilled. Best identified either from the larval case/foodplant, or by examination of adult genitalia.
