Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Woodland rides

Wingspan:  10-13mm

Flight Period:  May - July

Observations: Larvae believed to feed on St John's-wort. The only county record so far was of two individuals taken at MV light by James Skinner at Ring Haw (TL09).

Confusion Species:  Monochroa tenebrella
