Chrysoesthia drurella

  B&F: 0746

ABH: 35.035

Status:  Resident

Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Wasteground

Wingspan:  8-9mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May - June, August - September

Observations: Larvae mine the leaves of Goosefoot and Orache. There are currently very few VC32 records, but the species is quite common and widespread in adjacent counties, and given that the foodplants are quite widespread in VC32, indicates that this species is under-recorded. Best obtained by looking for the mines.
