Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Gardens

Flight Period:  July - August

Observations: Theis species is quite common and widespread around the UK, but as the larvae feed on Heather, is not known to be native to VC32 given the all but total absence of the foodplant in the wild. Likely to be recorded as a result of garden plantings or from garden centre stock.
