Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  TBC - usually moorland and heath

Wingspan:  14-19mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May, August

Observations:  Larvae feed on Sheep's Sorrel. Only a single VC32 record, but is frequently encountered elsewhere in the UK in suitable habitat. Targeted fieldwork where the foodplant is known in e.g. Harlestone Firs, Badby, High Wood or Ramsden Corner for example, may yield results.
