Primary Habitat:  Grassland

Flight Period:  July - September, and again in spring after hibernation

Observations:  Larvae feed on Mouse-ear and Greater Stitchwort.

Confusion Species:  Other Caryocolum species

L.O.N.:  King's Wood, 22.iii.1907. Rather common on trunks of Pine trees
