Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  11 - 14mm

Flight Period:  mid June - August

Observations: This species was recognised as new to science in a paper published in 2017, and it is thought that most specimens of previously identified as A. lineatella that have been light-trapped are likely to be A. innoxiella. Larvae feed on Acers.

Confusion Species:  Anarsia linneatella - dissection required to confirm ID.
