Distribution/Abundance:  Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat:  Limestone grassland

Wingspan:  9-10mm

Flight Period:  July - September

Observations:  Larvae feed in a silk spinning at the base of Rock-rose. Adults may be seen in numbers on sunny days, often nectaring communally on flowerheads. Records might be obtained by searching suitable sites such as Barnack Hills & Holes, Collyweston Quarry and Ring Haw.
