Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Wasteground

Wingspan:  10-15mm

Flight Period:  June - September

Observations:  Larvae feed within a spinning on the flowers of Plantains, Yarrow, Marjoram and Thyme, amongst others.

Confusion Species: 

L.O.N.:  Wadenhoe, near Old, Brigstock. Rather common
