Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Gardens, Woodland

Wingspan:  18-25mm

Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Larvae feed within a leaf-roll on a number of shrubs and trees such as Hazel, Ash, Oak and Prunus. Often seen in garden light traps.

Confusion Species:  P. corylana, P. cinnamomeana, P. heparana.
