Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Gardens, Hedgerows, Woodland

Wingspan:  18-26mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: June - July, September - October

Observations:  Larvae can be found on a number of fruit trees, feeding on foliage, flowers and ripening fruit.

Confusion Species: 

L.O.N.:  Common in many localities during July.

First Record:  1903, Wallis
