Primary Habitat:  Gardens

Wingspan:  14-24mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May - June, August - September

Observations:  Larvae feed on a vast array of native and introduced plant species. I have seen the female ovipositing on Ceanothus and have reared one from a larva found on an indoor, potted Olive tree. Adults come to light, but also often seen in flight during the afternoon and evening.
