Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Gardens, Wetland, Wasteground

Wingspan:  16-22mm

Flight Period:  May - September

Observations:  Larvae feed on a wide array of low-growing plants, including Greater Willowherb, Nettles, Hop, Cyclamen, Strawberry and Honeysuckle. Often attends garden light traps.

Confusion Species: 

L.O.N.:  Wadenhoe to Ashton Mill. Common by river bank.
