Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Hedgerows

Wingspan:  18-22mm

Flight Period:  October - December

Observations:  Larvae feed on a variety of trees and bushes, including Privet, Buckthorn, Hawthorn. The species is scattered throughout the UK with very a patchy distribution. Possibly under-recorded due to its winter flight period, but may also be one of those species which seems to ignore light traps.
