Primary Habitat:  Gardens, Hedgerows

Wingspan:  16-23mm

Flight Period:  June - July

Observations:  Larvae highly polyphageous on low-growing plants, living by day in a silken tube below ground. Adults may be flushed by day and attend light traps.

Confusion Species: 

L.O.N.:  Near Oakley, Ashton Wold. Abundant locally.
