Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  17-23mm

Flight Period:  June - July

Observations:  Larvae feed on the flowers of Bluebell and Ox-eye Daisy. Adults come sparingly to light, but even so, this species seems to be under-recorded locally, given that it is quite widespread in the southern half of the UK, and VC32 has no shortage of good Bluebell woods.

Confusion Species:  May be confused for one of the Cnephasia group
