Distribution/Abundance:  Local

Primary Habitat:  Allotments, Gardens

Wingspan:  13-18mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: June - July, August - November

Observations:  Larvae feed on wild and cultivated Strawberry. Adults are variable and very difficult to separate from its congener, A. laterana, and thus must be subject to genitalia dissection to be sure of identification.

Confusion Species:  A. laterana
