Distribution/Abundance:  Local

Primary Habitat:  Woodland, Hedgerows

Wingspan:  17mm

Flight Period: August - October, and then in spring after hibernation

Observations:  Larvae feed mainly on Wayfaring Tree and Guelder Rose. Worn adults may resemble A. comariana and A. laterana and thus dissection may be advisable to be sure of identification for adults caught in Autumn.

Confusion Species:  In Autumn: Acleris comariana, A. laterana
